The Top 5 Sales Podcasts That Will Make You Rich

Do you listen to podcasts? More importantly, do you listen to podcasts pertaining to sales? If not, you absolutely should or else you are leaving money on the table. Or worse, your competitor is listening and is eating your lunch. I started listening to podcasts on a daily basis back in 2017 and it has upped my game tremendously. Think you don't have time? Make time. It's not hard to do. Listen on your drive to work. Listen while you are at the gym. Listen why you are mowing your lawn. This is self-education folks. This shit is important. Btw, did I mention that podcasts are free? Just 15-20 minutes a day can make a huge difference as you can get the latest trends, techniques and philosophy's. Learn about new hacks around cold calling, social selling, and networking. Hear from other sales reps out there and the challenges they face (which are the same as yours) and how they overcome them. Hear from experts, best selling authors, and millionaires who have put in the work. The list goes on and on about the benefits and the impact it will have will make you a total bad ass at sales.

So here they are, the top 5 sales podcasts that will make you rich:

1. Sell or Die

Best-selling author Jeffrey Gitomer and sales expert Jennifer Gluckow discuss the art and science of selling with the top leaders in sales, business, marketing and personal development. This so far has been the most valuable sales podcast I've found. It's super entertaining as Gitomer lays it out there with the nothing but the brass tax, leaves out the fluff, and tells it how it is (he calls it "raw meat."). They also get well known names as guests which makes it even more compelling to listen to. If you read and loved Gitomer's book, The Little Red Book of Selling, you will loves this podcast.

2. The Brutal Truth About Sales & Selling

Learn about The Maverick Selling Method, models the world's best salespeople and what they do differently. It's focused on those that are in b2b selling and Brian Burns (the host) is very talented and has been around the block and seen it all. His interviews are top notch and the tid bits I've got have been really useful. He often touches on spin selling, the challenger sale, and solution selling and since he was also in tech sales, he eludes to this industry more often than not which I obviously can relate more to.

3. Sales Tuners

SalesTuners is a weekly interview where host Jim Brown talks with great sales leaders and high performing individual salespeople about the behaviors, attitudes, and techniques that have led to their success. Jim also came from tech sales so it's a lot of the content carries over even better for me but by no means is a deterrent if you are not in the technology field.

Sales Tuners is near and dear to me as I was a guest speaker not too long ago. Take a listen here.

4. Sales Gravy

Jeb Blount is the bestselling author of People Buy You and an internationally recognized expert on sales. He believes that Sales Professionals are the Elite Athletes of the Business World. On the Sales Gravy podcast Jeb teaches you how to open more doors, close bigger deals, and rock your commission check. He focuses a lot of his content around cold calling / prospecting which I have found to be highly effective as he stresses the importance of persistence and consistency and to always make "one more call."

5. MFCEO Project

Although this one isn't tied directly to sales, I had to put it on here because it's consistently ranked as the #1 podcast on iTunes (for all podcasts) and a must hear. Andy Frisella for those of you who don't know him is about as blunt of a person you will ever here. He truly tells it exactly how it is (very politically incorrect which I love) and his content will constantly challenge you to suck it up and push harder to succeed and embrace the pain and effort along the way. His podcast covers entrepreneur basics like money, marketing, and management. But Andy also takes your business to the next level with goal setting, productivity and the success mindset.

Here is a pro tip. Change your podcast listening settings to 1.5 speed to get content faster!
